Wassim Bazzi is a freelance photo retoucher, art director, film colourist and co­founder of his own creative production studios, Xray Doll initially and now Studio Bazzi.

His specialties are fashion and advertising with prominent experience in food, lifestyle, medical, print media, music, portraiture and architecture.

Wassim’s reputation as an innovator and artist expands to project management, concept development, as well as both in­house and remote art direction and retouching. His nineteen years of industry experience have seen him work for for M&C Saatchi, Studio Woo, 303Lowe, US/Razor/Joy, The Locals, The Unimail Group, Ward 6, Saatchi & Saatchi, BWM, McCann, Leo Burnett, NBC Universal, Foxtel, Fox Sports, Special Broadcasting Service, The ABC, Seven Network and Nine Network to name a few.

Wassim has appeared on My Great Big Adventure on ABC2, won “Best Punk Release 2014” at the AIVMA’s for a film clip he directed and regularly holds workshops for digital retouching and work flow. He has had several photographic pop surrealist exhibitions and continues to be active in the Sydney art scene.

Wassim is now certified in motion colour grading from AFTRs in Sydney and is actively working as a colourist in his own grading suite in Chippendale.
